Our independent cottages are part of a traditional Portuguese Quinta set on 1.5 hectares of bushland and surrounded by a large Mediterranean garden with palms, banana, olive, carob and almond trees, as well as herb gardens, an orchard with fruit trees and an edible food forest (under “self-construction”!).

With over 300 days of sunshine per year, the Algarve is amongst the sunniest regions of Europe. Our refreshing saltwater pool will keep your head cool, and the wood-fired pizza oven and BBQ are free to use for fun outdoor cooking experiences (outside of the summer months).
Neighborhood
Quinta Bohemia is in the Algarvian countryside, where you can roam, run, hike and bike freely around the many hills and dirt roads.
We are 3 km from the authentic village of Moncarapacho, with its restaurants, terraces, market and shops. As you stroll down the calçada (paved streets) of the town, you may also come across performances by local artists at the church’s square…
The bustling town of Olhao and Fuseta’s beach, both 10 min away, have regular ferry departures for the National Park of Ria Formosa and its many paradisal islands. The towns of Tavira, Faro and Loulé are less are than 25 minutes away.
Transport
You will need a car to get around once you settle at Quinta Bohemia. An Uber from the airport to Quinta Bohemia will take about 20 minutes (around €15).
An E-bike can get you to the beach and surrounding villages. The Moncarapacho/Fuseta train station is 6 min away by car from Quinta Bohemia. This small train track goes from Faro all the way to the town of Tavira and to Monte Gordo, close to the Spanish border (35 minutes by car).

The booking is confirmed when the deposit of 50% of the total amount due is paid.
Should you cancel your booking 60 days or more before the arrival date, we will refund 50% of the nightly rate if we are able to rebook the casita for your dates.
