Thick walls, smart building, solar panels and ingenious water and cooling systems allow us to create, conserve and recycle energy, making the main houses one of 1.3% of houses in Portugal to be rated A+ in energy efficiency.
At the Quinta, you will find numerous fruit trees, olive trees, carob trees, medicinal plants, and soil regeneration ecosystems pollinated by local bees. Over 80 species of birds have been spotted by a guest in one day!
And since every small step count in keeping single-use plastic out of our oceans and landfills, our bulk store is here to help us achieve a plastic-free lifestyle. Actively participate in our compost efforts, and you will play a major role in making the property and wildlife more alive every day (and make our chicken the happiest birds on earth!).
