The Ria Formosa National Park is Quinta Bohemia’s playground and the Pearl of the Algarve. Pink flamingos and thousands of migrating birds, infinite stretches of white sandy beaches, crystal clear blue lagoons, dolphins, and car-free and desert islands. Right here, in the East Algarve.

You can explore the Ria Formosa by kayak, stand up paddle or by hiring a boat. It’s also great for kite surfing… or just take the ferry and visit one of the islands for an afternoon on the beach or a delicious meal of local foods and babercued fish and seafood.

Neighborhood

Quinta Bohemia is in the Algarvian countryside, where you can roam, run, hike and bike freely around the many hills and dirt roads.

We are 3 km from the authentic village of Moncarapacho, with its restaurants, terraces, market and shops. As you stroll down the calçada (paved streets) of the town, you may also come across performances by local artists at the church’s square…

The bustling town of Olhao and Fuseta’s beach, both 10 min away, have regular ferry departures for the National Park of Ria Formosa and its islands. The towns of Tavira, Faro and Loulé are less are than 25 minutes away.

Charming, authentic, off-the-beaten track…Don’t just take it from us…. hear it from:
